At Urban Boost, we stand behind every product we make. All our chargers, cables, and accessories are tested for quality before they reach you. However, if something is not right with your order, we are here to make it right quickly and without unnecessary hassle.
This policy applies to all products purchased on urbanboost.in and is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).
1. Unboxing Video Requirement
To protect both you and us from disputes regarding damaged, defective, or missing items, Urban Boost requires an unboxing video for all return and replacement requests.
Important: Unboxing Video is Mandatory
You must record a continuous, uncut video starting from the sealed/unopened package all
the way through the full unboxing — showing the product, all accessories, and the issue.
Returns or replacements cannot be processed without a valid unboxing video.
This policy helps us serve you better and resolve your issue faster.
What Your Unboxing Video Must Show
- The outer package/courier bag showing the Urban Boost label and your name/address
- The seal or tape on the package — before you open it
- Opening of the package in one continuous shot — do not pause or cut the video
- All contents removed from the box — product, cable, adapter, manual, and all accessories
- The specific defect, damage, or issue you are reporting
Video Guidelines
- Format: MP4, MOV, or any standard video format
- Length: Minimum 60 seconds — no maximum limit
- Recorded in good lighting so the product is clearly visible
- Must be uncut and continuous — edited or partial videos will not be accepted
- Send the video via WhatsApp (+91 93157 60370) or email (info@urbanboost.in) with your return request
Why We Ask for This
The unboxing video is your proof that the product arrived damaged or defective. It also helps us take up the matter with our logistics partner if damage occurred during shipping, so we can improve packaging and delivery for everyone.
Without a valid unboxing video, we are unable to process return, replacement, or refund claims for damaged or defective products. This requirement does not apply to cancellations made before dispatch.
2. Return Eligibility
You may return a product within 7 days of delivery if it meets all of the following conditions:
- An unboxing video has been recorded and is available to share (see Section 1)
- The product is unused and in its original condition
- The product is in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and tags intact
- The product has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during delivery
- You received the wrong product (different from what you ordered)
- The product is Dead on Arrival (DOA) — not working when first unboxed
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Products returned without a valid unboxing video
- Products that have been used, installed, or physically damaged by the customer
- Products with a broken seal or removed warranty sticker
- Products returned after 7 days of delivery
- Products without original packaging or missing accessories
- Products purchased during clearance or final sale events (marked non-returnable at time of purchase)
- Any product showing signs of misuse, water damage, or tampering
4. How to Initiate a Return
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order using any of the following:

Please include the following in your message:
- Your unboxing video (mandatory — see Section 1)
- Your Order ID (found in your order confirmation email or SMS)
- Your full name and registered phone number
- The product name and reason for return
Our support team will review your request and respond within 24-48 business hours with next steps.
5. Return Process
Once your return request is approved:
- We will arrange a reverse pickup from your delivery address at no cost to you.
- Please pack the product securely in its original box before the pickup.
- Once received at our warehouse, the product goes through quality inspection within 2 business days.
- If the return is approved after inspection, your refund or replacement will be processed.
- If rejected (product found used or damaged by customer), the item will be shipped back to you.
6. Refund Policy
6.1 Refund Timeline
Once your returned product passes inspection, refunds are processed as follows:
- UPI / Net Banking / Debit Card: 5-7 business days to your original payment source
- Credit Card: 7-10 business days (depending on your bank’s processing time)
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunded to a bank account or UPI ID you provide — within 5-7 business days
- Store Credit (if chosen): Credited to your Urban Boost account within 24 hours
6.2 Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be issued if only part of the order is returned, or if the product is returned missing an accessory.
6.3 Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect, wrong product, or transit damage.
7. Replacement Policy
If you prefer a replacement instead of a refund, we will send a fresh unit of the same product at no extra charge, subject to availability. Replacements are processed within 2-3 business days after the returned product passes inspection.
If the same product is out of stock, you will be offered a full refund or store credit.
8. Warranty
All Urban Boost products come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Component failure under normal use
- Electrical faults not caused by misuse
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage caused by the customer (drops, bends, cuts)
- Water or liquid damage
- Damage from using the product with incompatible devices
- Normal wear and tear over time
To raise a warranty claim, contact info@urbanboost.in or WhatsApp +91 93157 60370 with your Order ID, proof of purchase, unboxing video (if applicable), and description of the issue.
9. Order Cancellation
9.1 Before Dispatch
Contact us on WhatsApp (+91 93157 60370) or email (info@urbanboost.in) before your order ships. A full refund will be issued within 5-7 business days. No unboxing video required.
9.2 After Dispatch
Cancellations are not possible once dispatched. Initiate a return after delivery as per Section 4.
9.3 COD Orders
Refusing delivery without a valid reason may result in restriction of future COD orders on your account.
10. Damaged or Wrong Product Received
If your product arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item:
- Start recording your unboxing video before opening the package (mandatory)
- Do not use or open the product further once the issue is visible
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp (+91 93157 60370) or email
- Share your unboxing video, Order ID, and photos of the damage or wrong product
We will arrange an immediate replacement or full refund at no cost, including reverse pickup, once the video is verified.
11. Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
As a customer in India, you are protected under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. This includes the right to:
- Be protected against unfair trade practices
- Receive goods that match their description and are free from defects
- Seek redressal for defective goods or deficiency in service
- File a complaint with the NCDRC or State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission if unresolved
